[…] After about 21 km our legs said it was enough for the day. We didn’t want to go much higher anyway as later we couldn’t have found any firewood. Still it wasn’t too easy to find the 2×2 metre patch of land that was more or less flat, wasn’t full of deadly thorny plants and no water was flowing across it. Still it was much more ideal than a corn field! […]

Zlatibor is very large mountain hiding lots of beauty. To see it, you have to go off the main road.

Touristic settlement you passed by is there to attract tourists and keep them there, preventing them from polluting the nature 🙂

That’s an interesting idea and I actually agree with you on that. The negative things I said were only about the town of Zlatibor but apart from that we loved the Mountains! We still had a lot to go and we were on road bikes so we couldn’t really go off the road but we stopped many times and admired the beauty of the place. I’d be great to return one day on foot! And I hope it’s clear from my story that we loved the country and the people!

Thank you for your attention and your visit!

You do not have to go on foot. Zlatibor is actually very suitable for bicycling, not demanding even for tourists.

If you come again, feel free to ask for some hints.

        Check https://pedja.supurovic.net/karta-biciklistickih-staza-zlatibor-mokra-gora-tara/ and https://pedja.supurovic.net/obelezene-biciklisticke-rute-u-zapadnoj-srbiji/

Thank you for your article. I may be planning a trip to Albania in summer 2019 and I have a couple of questions. Can you order coffee with milk? I love coffee but the black expresso on its own is too strong for me. Also, do the coffee places add sugar or does the customer add his/her own? Thank you in advance for your responses.

Hi Bettina, thank you for your question! Surely you can order coffee with milk or you can have cappuccino. They don’t add sugar to your coffee, it’s up to you if you’ll have it with or without sugar. I think Albania is a great destination and I hope you’ll have a fabulous time if you decide to go there. If you have any more questions, I’ll be glad to answer to my best knowledge.
